I was watching Beezus and Ramona with my younger sister. Now the movie itself didn't raise any alarms

What did start to shock me was when they got their report cards and it included a personality part with grades.

Now this was also normal, even my elementary school near the end included that.

What DID shock me was when the parents read Ramona's relatively innocent personality writing and berrated her about it. I know the movie is trying to paint her as a misunderstood artist, but do Parents really take those that seriously?
