The kind that, in the face of any evidence to the contrary, concludes that people never change and no problem is worth attempting to solve because there will always be people on both sides of the issue.

I don't see what the problem is with that stance, except for the lousy typing. Show me people have changed and problems have been solved. They haven't. Things are improving overall, and gradually, but nothing has actually changed in the last, say, 2000 years.

"The Human Condition". War, plague, famine, greed, entitlement, ego, discrimination... We have prettier toys but we still mostly act like monkeys. Things have gotten better, but we're a long way from actually getting rid of them.
Of course, I agree that we should never stop improving, but I also get why some people see it as wasted effort (see what I did there? )

Another new ending?  They botched it the first time, hardly improved it the second time... I bet the next one is just going to retcon a bunch of stuff for a sequel.  Who knows.

I feel like I've travelled back in time to March 2012. It's... not really a good thing. Gah.

Anyway, they won't alter the ending after Extended Cut, though there's still a small chance they'll do a post-ending DLC at some point, however that would work. I might even play that.
