Nothing I've received from them actually costs money, the only thing that seems to use minutes now is actual texts. Well, and calls.
It doesn't cost minutes if you don't open the texts. It's also absurdly easy to tell which ones are the spam ones from the previews.

I wouldn't say that Neonivek  :P. Nevertheless, your faith has earned a right to weaken.

Wow, I am surprised that you got away with saying he shot his friend for supporting homeless shelters though, since he basically lived in one during the period he records during Down and Out in Paris and London.

Of course, basically no one has read his biographical books is probably why. Personally think they're way better than his other stuff.

I know that my point was ultimately that George Orwell's works speak for themselves and no revelation about his personal life or possible source of inspiration for his writing can really change it nor should it be forced upon others to color their oppinions on his book.

I know I made the information I made up about George Orwell as obvious as possible, but I thought someone would call me out on it. It was astounding no one did.

Either people knew what I was trying to say or they didn't want to touch it.

It was actually required for the flow of my rhetoric to be called out on it.

I was actually going to since I stumbled onto it since I was wondering what that thread was about. But there didn't seem to be a real discussion outside of Neonivek being Neonivek so I didn't bother since that never does anything.

I just thought it went without saying that you were making it up. Besides, Hemingway is more interesting than Orwell anyway.

I suspected that, but this is the internet. People are less likely to pick up arguements and go with it anyway.

And will continue to believe it, even when contradictory evidence appears. Even if such evidence is provided by the one who made the original statement.

Or they might just believe the person lying in question believes the crap they made up no matter what they say afterwards.  That's just about as common.

Dear goodness, NO!!!! I don't believe that junk I said. If anything Orwell is probably one of the few writers who actually stands to be more interesting and heroic then his books.

I REALLY hope that didn't happen

We'd be lucky to even catch it if it did. You know how the Wikipedians are. There's probably a couple thousand of them camping Recent Edits right now.
