I've heard (but take this with a massive grain of salt) that Fred Phelps is actually a registered Democrat. I thought that was pretty WTF-worthy at the time.

It's true. He doesn't vote anymore, as I recall.

Despite all the other horrific things he says, Phelps is pretty rarely racist. His bigotry is mostly focused on *Scream Shower Scene Music* The Gay.

So, I just got a text with a weird ring that said there was going to be a blizzard headed for this area, until 6pm Thursday, and to avoid travel and whatnot.

EDIT: Looking at the weather report, it says this thing is going to start in Texas.

Apparently, this storm is will actually start in Colorado, and their calling it Draco. So it looks like Southeast Wisconsin is about to be attacked by a frost dragon.

I also found interesting the names they plan to give to future winter storms. This is the fourth, the fifth is going to be Euclid (I'm not sure what it's SCP number is), the seventh will be Gandalf, and, if there are seventeen storms by years end, they're going to blame the whole thing on Q.
