Well, http://www.erowid.org/plants/tobacco/tobacco_info1.shtml, that says basically that someone else understands that there might be RADON in tobacco that would actually be a catalyst for cancer in people AROUND tobacco smokers rather than the plain old dirty (first/second hand)smoke inhalation that burning tobacco is.

And I first heard this from mouth to ear a long long while ago.
