Um, no, it's not the worst that can happen. It's, really, really not. Anything I could say beyond that would probably be breaking confidences inappropriately, but, yeah. It depends on the area you're in, alright? It can get a hell of a lot worse than that.

In my time trick-or-treating, I've found some treats that are just several little gumdrops in packages. So it's not necessarily two.

So, the only lessons I learned in high school:

A) Teachers, like all authority figures, are probably corrupt and will shit on you for no reason. None are to be truly trusted.
B) Being a violent misanthrope makes you oddly popular. Everyone seemed to know me, even though I rarely talked to anyone.
C) Everyone wants to hurt me. Some people actually try. With box cutters they smuggled in through the metal detectors somehow.
C2) Metal detectors sometimes fail to do the one thing they're designed to do. Humans are much the same.
D) Punching someone in the face is much more effective than trying to talk them down.

Possibly 1 of 4 1/2 is sort of decent but makes you a paranoid freak who probably shouldn't be allowed in society at large. High school was not a happy time for me.
