Eh, why would you care that much about the whales?

Vermont is a land-locked state. They have a law that says you can't shoot whales from inside your car. Do the math.

Maybe there was a freak aquarium accident?

Funnily enough, when I told my Little brother, he asked "Wait, does it mean if the whale is in the car, its illegal to shoot it?" I explained it, but it actually makes a bit of sense as to how a whale would get in a landlocked state. That and the idea of a whale in a car just seems hilarious.

I know when I see giant whales being carted about in Vermont I have an odd urge to buy a shotgun and some buckshot and just murder me some dead whale.

Also, could that law apply to artillery?
Ten shots of vodka and a night in with the boys at the base could explain all that's needed to know about that law.

Does it count as shooting them if you use remotely detonated explosives, with the detonater in the car, or call in an airstrike from a car?

Because that is not art, thay is just weird. There is a limit to how weird you can get, and that limit is Japan. We just passed that limit tenfold when the guy started banging the bar with his massive steel dong.

There was an invisible painting that sold for $US 10,000

Apparently the clever dick launched his "Museum of Invisible Art" as a KickStarter project. Brilliant scam, an "arty" conceptual Kickstarter which promises to make nothing at all, right from the start. He then sold a non-existent "painting" called "Fresh Air" for $10,000.

Actually, I think he stole the whole idea from a Viz comic I read in the late 90's; in an episode of "The Critics", a practionier of "nothingism" sells the 2 art wanker main characters a non-existent painting called "Nothing At All", for a price in the 1000's, it could well have been $10,000.

This is all too similar to the kickstarter guy to be pure coincidence, and is definitely an example of real life imitating a parody (if not blatant plagiarism).

I just realized that I am extremely Cold-hearted in real life. Most people are somewhat moved by the realistic fiction/Non-fiction books we read in Language arts, but me? I just go 'meh' at whatever sort of tragedy is happening. Same goes for gruesome images, like a horribly maimed person's face.

That's pretty normal where I live.
That being said.
I live in Vermont.
Where it is also illegal to shoot whales from your car.

I'm pretty much the same. Then again, I play video games a lot, and hate everybody I know personally, including closest family.
