I don't know. That'd be kinda like giving birth to a loaf of bread and the doctor shouting "SURPRISE! IT'S A FOOD ITEM!"

I forget where I was going with this analogy, but I presume since there's no biological connection let alone a common species, it'd be just what it is - a parasite.
