So not only are we molesting unicorns, we're ogling them too?

Well, no. We're in a better position if we can molest the unicorn, but if we can't even do that we should be doing something more productive than ogling it, because ogling the invisible unicorn is somewhat useless. You can't see it, after all.

I would say that we are not in a better position by molesting the unicorn. Assuming it is actually a unicorn, by definition it has a horn, and if it is corporeal enough to touch, it is corporeal enough to gore you.

Also, invisible only necessarily implies that it might be invisible to the human eye. Considering the rather limited range of wavelengths us humans can see, it could be 'pink' on the ultraviolet spectrum.

Nah, I'd say being gored by an invisible unicorn is better than staring at empty space we're assuming a unicorn exists in for no reason, from a justification standpoint. At least we've got a reason for being perforated.

But yeah, if it's pink in infrared then we pull out the IR scope and check. Molestation is only better than ogling when you don't have a better method of observation than the laying of hands. Maybe there's depressions in the grass or whatev', but that'd be observation beyond interpreting light reflected off the unicorn, and thus outside the binary consideration of molestation or ogling.

You shouldn't assume that just because decidedly imperfect humans are incapable of truly observing the pinkness of IPU that it is not, in fact, pink. Just because we cannot make a judgement regarding the pinkness of IPU does not mean that such a judgement is impossible. We can, however, surmise that IPU is in fact pink, as it has not pointedly protested that conclusion.

We may, however, be mistaken on the nature of IPU's 'I'. It may, in fact, be both intangible and invisible, making all attempts to identify IPU as such by physical examination impossible. Despite the fact that the IPU then would be both invisible and intangible, and that it has never interacted with the world in living memory, it nonetheless must exist. The IPU, by definition, is both the most invisible and pinkest of all unicorns (note the capital letters!). If it can exist in our understanding, it must then exist in reality, as things which really exist are greater than those which conceptually exist, and as the most invisible and pinkest of all unicorns, IPU's existence in reality is necessary, as it would otherwise not be the most invisible or pinkest of unicorns.

Re: IR scope: The term 'pink' specifically refers to a hue of red, part of the visible light spectrum. IR radiation, by definition, is that just longer in wavelength than 'red' light, but shorter than microwave radiation. Therefore the IPU is in fact pink (a shade of red), and would be observed as such were it not invisible.

Well, If we're assuming that the pony is invisible, it must be constructed of some sort of super-dense metal, which would allow it to not be activated by the electrons.

If it were a super dense metal, wouldn't it reflect all light instead of letting it pass through?

Well, all metals have a minimium energy requirement for them to move to a agitated state. If they are not in a agitated state they do not emit energy, ergo no light. Extrapolating further without a care in the world, a denser material may have a high enough requirement that it passes visible light.

Or mostly because, you know, we tried all the lighter ones. I mean super-dense particles.

Well, you have ones complaining about food constantly, lust demon imagery (only text), and everything else, while Fniff is rather absent and the plot is just sitting there.

Its only 13 pages at 50/page, though.

I'd imagine it's because everyone started RPing a bit and that just got slightly out of hand.
