Huh. I didn't really have much trouble reading it.  The premise is creative, and the thought of actually being cooped up in such a space and slowly forcing your way through would be a claustrophobe's nightmare, but I wasn't really creeped out. The closing shot of the victim at the end was pretty cool; it reminded me of Lovecraft or Amnesia:The Dark Descent's Mr Face.

Probably the fact the dialogue is so goofy at times ruined the atmosphere for me.

You want creepy, but also wtf, meaningful, and even scarier because you know that it's actually possible, read "A Birthday" by Esther M. Friesner. Truly chilling. All the more so because you can't help but look around afterwards and realize the number of people who would love this to be reality.

No. But it's honestly very good, and the build to what it's about is a big part of why, so really - find a copy and read it. I'm not going to say any more about it, even in spoilers.

I think it would have been much better if it had left off the final two panels, finish off on them finding the second faultline. It would have left it to your mind rather than shoving the horror in your face

I think if they just showed that something was coming out - a hand or eyes in emerging from the dark - now that would be an ending!

Yeah, although I still think it would have been best to leave it off at the twisted holes, or even the rescue worker dood looking all "D:"

Read the panels and dialogueballoons right-to-left. Counterintuitive, so it kind of ruined the flow for me as well.

it would make a good SCP article, yes, that is what I thought of when I saw it.

(for those who do not know what SCP foundation is, it is basically a wikipedia style website dedicated to artifacts/items with some form of horror stories attached to them, being studied by the foundation)

K, so I went to one of the lyrics sites to learn the lyrics of a song I couldnt decipher...  When In restarted my comp I got BSODed...  I restored it with help from Ophcrack, but wtf?  Could the site have done it?  Than why am I paying for anitvirus?

Good question. I've never paid a penny for AV software. Never got a virus either.
