So, the creepy guy living up stairs is pretty much dying. Apparently, he started suffering paralysis in his left arm and parts of his face. After being taken to the hospital(which took much convinced to finally get him to go), he was told he either suffered multiple strokes or a micro-heart attack(doctors weren't sure which). Upon hearing this, he pulled the IV tube that they placed in his arm, and said something to the effect that every time he goes to the hospital, he hears the same shit.
After going to another hospital(presumable one of less quality), they give him some prescriptions.

Medicaid covered one, apparently, but not the other, which was $250. Hearing that price, he immediately turns to my stepdad who promptly says "Fuck that" and walks away. Later on, Medicaid covered all but $2, which the guy didn't even have. My stepdad would have given that, but he was miles away doing something else. Apparently, he must have begged two bucks from passerby.

I think I've found somebody who is quite literally too dumb to live.
He's also been given until the 1st of January to leave, assuming he doesn't die first.

Termite Lances?

Thermic/thermal Lances are just high powered welding torches that uses a thermite type chemical reaction to melt and cut stuff. Not really a death ray or anything.

I think you had a joint pop. it can be accompanied by intense pain just before it decides to make the pop.
I had it once where it felt like my elbow was on fire, before it had a sudden, very audible pop, and the pain almost went away with that.

Yeah, the location of the cramp, if it was one, was right next to my heart, or directly on top of it. That's the thing. It really did feel like a full-on heart attack, where I had only moments left to live, until, *boom* instant-revive. Just add water (had a "final drink" before giving into the pain).

Your heart is kind of right in the center of your chest, you know >_>

I know that pain tends to radiate to your left arm, but an audible pop from the heart wouldn't come from that area.

Yeah it's real. My expectations aren't very high, personally. I think it'll be rather generic (already mapping the plot out in my head).
