Generic Plots combined with cutaways which are basically situational jokes not related to the current scene which *technically* removes all the humor from them are still funny, right guys?

First of all, the judge says these distasteful rumors are not true of this prosecutor. I've never had anything to do with her, but I have heard good things about her abilities through the grapevine.

It's kind of sad and a bit telling that these rumors are a tad sexist aren't they?

I'd be more concerned with the dismissive tone of the articles you linked. The first one in particular treats the whole thing as a joke.
