If its the tablet-with-a-keyboard that I'm getting google results for, it certainly looks nice. Otherwise I'm not particularly impressed, and win8 ain't helping that.

It is, and no worries. The first thing that the dudes at Techdirt did with it (or so I'm told) is put Steam on it and play games with it. Also, I've been told that it'll run Ubuntu.

With or without Unity (the ui, not the game engine)?
If its Ubuntu with Unity I wouldn't be able to tell much difference between it and the win8 one :P

I'm not sure, I'm just reiterating hearsay of hearsay. Even I'm taking it with a grain of salt.

Ah yes. I remembered something that happened to me today:

Some background info: I switched out of my Advanced Placement US History class (like freshman college level) in my school, since the amount of homework is ridiculously unneeded and ineffective at teaching history, and I'd rather spend the time practicing my graphics/tablet/photoshop/whatever-you'd-like-to-call-it rather than spend 3 hours filling flash cards, since my goal is to major in Graphics and Design, Animation (something along those lines), not anything history related. The US history class (junior level of high school) I switched into had it's first test of the year today, which I was exempt from due to just switching in.

The class failed spectacularly. The average was a whopping 55% and the teacher admitted that they were the worst average in her history. She went on to say the tests will only get harder, and that she had never before encountered such results on the first test of the year.

I felt like laughing and simultaneously facepalming, combined with a stunned WTF moment. The normal rank classes are incredibly easy! Half the time it feels like they hold our hands and guide us to the answers.

I fear for our future, guys. I really do.

I figure we might as well enjoy the ride.

I mean, we've already got cyborgs (Technically speaking). I'm content with that.

Isn't this what teachers are supposed to do? :P It's not a game or competition.

But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

Hilarious group work in one of my classes today. I read the wrong thing for today, one girl was hungover since it was her 21st birthday, the other girl didn't read anything, and the last girl did the reading but was just kind of dumb. We still managed to get as much done as the other groups.

Actually has anybody here ever been to Indiana to check their geometry? It might be possible that some starspawn has their lair there, which would explain the non-euclidianity.
I heard from a friend on Steam that apparently "furries are pushing the liberal agenda." any Americans that vote can get free furry art. People that vote for Obama get furry porn. I couldn't tell if he was being serious or not.
