"What kind?"
The kind where people put bits into each other. Sometimes.

Your parents reactions to this are very strange, kaijyuu. I think you broke them.
I might have.
Everything is going according to plan. Release the Fabulous Parasite while they sleep and their conversion will be complete.

@ kaijyuu: Well...at least they didn't immediately throw you out, right? D:

@ MZ: That might be the best answer I've ever seen. Maybe it's the meds talking but I'm still chuckling :P

It's just a Mathematician's Answer. Completely true, but revealing no useful information. I've done nothing clever here. :P

Yeah, my parents aren't that backwards. But sheesh are they confused as to what to do. Some of the strongest cognitive dissonance I've ever seen.

I doubt that. If that were the case they would have disowned him. Or beat him up. Or kidnapped him and sent him to Brainwashing For Christ Camp. Or thrown him onto the streets. Or any combination of the above.

It made me think of the politician's description of porn: I can't define it, but I know it when I see it.

If they need you to explain it, use the "Ears on a dog" simile. Not only is it accurate, it's funny.

Yeah, they're not super conservative bible thumpers. They're just Utahn. Although...
Or kidnapped him and sent him to Brainwashing For Christ Camp.
Something like this would have happened if I had come out at like, 16. I got sent to a religion counselor for pornography addiction back then. Was in a far, far worse depression than now due to self loathing, at least until I stopped thinking masturbation was bad and was going to send me to hell. 'Tis why I hate masturbation shame so much, since it's probably a good chunk of the reason I'm as messed up as I am today. They thought I'd been "clean" all these years (snicker), which is why they asked about porn.

/end Kai's life story.

Urgh. This shit is so dumb. :/ People just can't accept that it is normal and healthy for kids to masturbate. It's frakking human nature. Just messes people up for life to try and force them to not be human like that.

At this point doom is likely averted except for my extended family. I really, really doubt my cousins are going to invite me to anything anymore (and least when the rumors get around about me, which inevitably will). I will, of course, still send them wedding invitations when that time comes. Maybe making out on the included picture :D
