Once upon a time there was a wealthy Spanish couple. The wife was infertile, the husband was disloyal. He had a son with a maid; they took him as their own child. The maid had a second son with a servant who ran off, and the second son grew up on the streets. After some time, the first son was a respected surgeon and medical researcher, in particular working to develop tough, transplant-worthy skin using pig genes. He and his wife had a daughter. While he was out of the country, his half-brother showed up, on the lam, and the maid/mother hid him in a shed. The half-brother and wife eloped together and after some time wound up crashing their car. He survived and ran off; she survived with massive burn damage.
The surgeon kept his wife secluded for several years until one day when she heard their daughter singing. She went to the window and drew back the curtain, seeing her reflection in the glass. Horrified, she threw herself from the window, dying on impact, right in front of her daughter. The daughter went into therapy with a pronounced antisocial disorder.
The first night of the daughter's release from care, she and her father attended a wedding party. While there, she and several other 20-somethings left for the garden, all but her stoned out of their minds on pills. The daughter was raped by one of the men there (who was so high that he didn't even remember what had happened later), and woke when her father found her, forming a link in her mind between her father and the rapist.
After several years in a mental institution, the daughter killed herself. On that day, the father hunted down the rapist, kidnapping him. Over the course of several months he performed a total sex change operation, to the extent that the actor was replaced by an actress. Six years passed with the sexchanged!rapist locked in a room in the surgeon!father's mansion.
The half-brother showed up again after a failed jewel heist, seeking shelter. When the maid!mother refused, he bound her. He then noticed the cctv feed from the sexchanged!rapist's room and raped her. The father returned and shot the half-brother; the three disposed of the corpse and bloody bedding. Over the course of several weeks the sexchanged!rapist pretended to draw closer to the father!kidnapper!surgeon, tricking him into relaxing his restrictions. On the night when she "allowed" him to talk her into sex, she left the room, supposedly to get lube, and stole his pistol.
Returning, she shot him and hid under the bed. When the mother!maid came to investigate with her own revolver, the sexchanged!rapist shot her as well, escaping from the mansion and returning to her mother's dress shop. Movie ends.
Also had one of the best brick jokes I've seen. On the day that the dressmaker's son/rapist was kidnapped, he was semi-joking with the (lesbian) shop assistant about how nice a certain dress was, and that she should wear it and go out with him. She replied that if he liked it so much, he should wear it. Guess what she (he) was wearing when she showed up six years later?
