Dude Malwort is the worst customer for any company.

We dropped them because A) they suck at selling computers, B) the employees/managers don't really care that they suck at selling computers, and C) they suck at selling computers.

Whenever I went into that place, I spent an hour telling people that no, I don't know where you can find the laht bubs and warsher floo-ed (even though I actually did know.)

Surprisingly, though, Walmart's not so bad to work for. You get to work and enable relax mode when the boss isn't watching, because 1) No one cares and 2) The next shift can take care of what you can't. Overall, Walmart's been pretty good to me.

That is, of course, in comparison to other jobs I've had.

I almost worked in a Walmart electronics department. Then I came to my senses and realized everyone over there bar a single worker was an idiot and took a position in the Meat Dept. Meat dept wasn't too bad actually. Start of shift: Work ass off for about 2 hours; remainder of 9 hour shift: jack around and do busy work so you don't get a reprimand / asked to do work in some other area of the store*

* This pissed me off more than anything else while working there. If the powers that be needed just about anything done they'd come and bug me about it

Speaking of the NAR derailment a bit earlier: what the hell is with all the stories that ended with "I ended up dating him! " or "Everyone applauded! :O"

Reality: If this was a book, you would be so very disappointed at the ending.

As has been implied, that ending generally implies a fantasy scenario. Obviously its absence doesn't preclude it or anything, but yeah.

It's nice that there's finally a patch out, but it doesn't really cover half the issues I've been having.
