Maybe Amazon was trying to tell you that they're out of stock and you'll need to "aquire" your television from a retailer?
Anyhow, after a long dry spell, I have once again woken from a rather fucked up dream sequence.
Dream the first: I observe from third person several days of different people travelling across a bridge and into a forest to reach a small house. I can someone sense if the cars and house like them or not. If the former don't, they inevitably crash and kill everyone inside. If the latter doesn't, the person in question ends up with some strange, incurable condition. After 5 sequences of this, I find myself in the forward passenger seat of the car, and can tell that the car likes everyone inside... though all the other people are faceless grey figures. Upon reaching the house in the forest, I step out and look up, seeing a strange weather pattern consisting of long parallel bands of alternating blackest-night stormclouds laced with lightning and sunny day. As I'm hauling a couple suitcases up the steps, I realize that the house hates me, just as a storm band passes overhead, drenching me. Over the course of the next three days I discover that I am unable to dry myself off, cursed to live forever as if I had just stepped in from a heavy downpour.
___
Dream the second: I am a member of an all-female troupe of acrobatt; when the dream begins, I am talking with a dead-ended junkie and a fictional prince of England about the junkie's dream of building a massive apartment building that provides near-rentless housing for low income people. The prince decides that it is an excellent social project; my group decides to help in the construction. Several years later, as the final touches are being added, the prince dies in unrelated circumstances and the ex-junkie wishes to name the building as a memorial for him. His petition is rejected, and he begs my troupe to appear before the Queen on his behalf. We agree, and I find myself marching out in front of the Queen with the rest of the girls, disguised as a fake order of knights. Naturally, this is entirely ineffective, but the Queen laughs and grants the request, leaving us to carry out the dozens of heavy oak bookshelves which have just appeared in front of us.
___
Dream the third: I am making my way through a broken-down factory--currently the base of a delusional middle-aged man--in order to retrieve documents and hostages related to said man's plan to become a dictator. I manage to make it outside with the documents and escape. Later that night, I am ordered back to hide in the parking lot with a directional microphone while my agency's star football (not American football) player challenges the would-be dictator's own football champion for the safety of the hostages. Midway through the showdown, I am discovered by the enemy football player. The middle-aged man confronts us with a chart covered in portraits of famous dictators and less-than-benevolent leaders, all with their names spelled with an 'f' at the start.
He rants for several minutes until my side's football player points out George Washington's name and face on the poster, saying that his own name starts with a 'g'. At this point, the middle-aged man becomes even more enraged, and the two football players take off across the parking lot while I assault the delusional, balding fool with a buffet table. We engage in an extended fight which alternates between him pushing me back and me smashing him in the face with the table, until he eventually gets up some momentum and starts forcing me towards a wall.
At that moment, an elderly Japanese couple in a tiny hatchback come 'round a corner and charge at my opponent, pushing him back as I continue to slam the table into his face. They drive off as I drop the table and run. I hear the middle-aged man running after me, grunting and snorting, as a 6-door sedan pulls up, half-full with old professors of mine, and I jump in. I fade into consciousness as I climb into the middle-right seat while we speed away down the highway.
Damn, it's been a while since I had interesting dreams.
