It mostly just seems petty; a few people got banned, and months or a year (how long has it been?) later 'reprisals' pop up that simply don't register for most users here.

It was last April. I recall because I created this account very shortly after the last of the bans. I'm really surprised anyone would care this much after this long.

As someone who's been here for five years, Shock is a dumbass. He's just like everyone in every community who mistakes their nostalgia for the degradation of the community.

Things seem to have gotten more cyclic over the last couple of years; increasingly so. Maybe everything's always run in circles, and maybe I've just been more pessimistic lately, but there's just nothing new here. Everything worth discussing has been fully discussed, but people keep making the same points. The new and interesting are lost in the waves of different phrasings of things shared before. The genuine has turned into a mask worn for the sake of yourself and others. Everyone wants to pretend; but perhaps that's how it's always been. I recognize a small number of people as interesting enough to break the monotony, but most seem to have disappeared recently. What's worst is that this is the best community that I've seen, and this is how I see it.

Toady is one of the most lenient of forum-owners I've seen on the internet. Getting banned around here is tough, but bitching about it is irrelevant. You don't hear me whining about me getting banned for being out of line years in the past. I still love this place and that man, nonetheless. Some people just feel like a community owes them something, I guess. People confuse me.

But not the movie itself, that was quite good, what made ne WTF was my reaction to that one scene, it's even in the damn trailer, when she's on that table and the machine cuts that thing out of her. That kinda made me sick, it's maybe because of the sounds or something, but I literally almost vomited, so I get up, go down the stairs, and trough the door, finding myself in a dark room suddenly, somehow, I grab a handle and pull, but nothing happens, now I start panicking slightly, still feeling very sick, crash down to the floor and catch a few breaths.

By this point I'm adjusted to the darknes and I see a second door, so I open it and I'm out of the damn room, find a bathroom, literally collapse in a stall becase for some reason my legs decided to take a break. Then I got washed up a bit and I was suddenly completely fine, still wondering how the hell that happened and why.


This is strange because I've seen explicit violence and that kind of crap before (Saw movies, Cube, that kind of stuff) and it made me wince and look away at times, but not once did I feel this sick.
