So the next Batman Arkham game is going to be a prequel set in the Silver Age.  What is this fuckery?  What about all the sequel hooks in Arkham City?  What about Azrael and Hush and Scarecrow!?
Instead we get something featuring Batman meeting Joker for the first time and the Justice League. That stinks of movie cash-in to me.  Don't even get me started on the Justice League film...

That sounds awesome. The games were always a bit too dark for me. Though, I do hope they don't go the exact opposite and make it completely ridiculous.

I don't see how they can!  It is the silver age after all, there's no way there won't be a completely jarring shift in tone.

More seriously, old Batman is awesome. I never really liked the AA games. They tried too hard to be gritty and violent IMO.

That's still of some dispute apparently. According to the article, he denies slapping her. And by "forced his way in", you mean "stuck his foot in the door when she tried to close it in his face". Not exactly a brutish beast, that one.

Besides, my WTF was less that he was charged with assault and more of a "who in the hell gets mad at someone and decides to wreak vengeance with a bottle of steak sauce??"
