Anyway! I've slowly started watching more TV lately. It's kinda scary, I never used to watch TV at -all-... I think I made a better post on the topic elsewhere on the forums.
You might want to check your browser settings, if you haven't. Something could have been changed, possibly not allowing cookies or history.

Corrupted fonts maybe?  A quick google search seems to mention that sometimes being the cause with firefox.  According to what I found the corrupted font causes firefox to switch to another bolder looking font as a default temporarily whenever it is having trouble with the font in use.

No mention at all with any other browsers though.
