Huh. I guess this is just an alien behavior for me.

But I've pretty much never subscribed to YouTube channels, so I guess it makes sense that people who do would actually check them in some way that's less annoying than e-mails.

Youtube became significantly better for me when I installed AdBlock Plus and changed my bookmark to my subscription page.

Yes, the my_subscriptions page is magnitudes better than the current homepage, you just need to click the >> to get the reccomended channels out of the way.

Being DF players, I'll let you draw your own conclusions about who that ad is targeting. I take it as proof positive that Dwarf Fortress has finally escaped the matrix.
