This is for real:

When shark tanks break over the weekend, because somebody was too cheap to put in the right thickness of glass (it's more expensive).

Edit: as somebody pointed out, turns out this was a fake picture.

Where would that be? o_o

Also, I don't envy whoever has to pay for fixing the escalators, if the motors and stuff are all at the bottom :P

Poor sharks, that floor-water must be filthy.

Why the heck would you fix it?  It's clearly way more valuable as a post-apocalyptic style tourist attraction now.

Although I must say I'm impressed with the air-tightness of their doors.

Kuwait. This is why the doors are so air tight: temperature control. As for the escalators. I don't think they'll be used, what with the sharks they now lead to. :P

I now want to play a post-apocalyptic video game where the ice caps melted. The entire game is played in waist-high water, and it's shark infested.

Wouldn't the people have moved further inland, thus avoiding waist-high shark-infested water?

Balls, you're right.

You know what's really frightening? I got that picture emailed to me by a judge through the bar association.... I guess this is what happens when you assume somebody professional and in a position of authority already fact checked it.

Uh... maybe it'd be better as a horror game where you're trapped in a flooding aquarium.

Doesn't sound mass marketable. Add some terrorists in this haunted, flooded aquarium and we'll talk.

But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

All of Earth's ice melting would result in a 200 meter sea level rise, so yes. Except all the sharks and sealife in general have died due to saltwater-freshwater contamination and pH shifts.
