Books, maybe. He's still very much activist in article writing. A recent piece on Intelligent Design that he wrote included the gem (slightly paraphrased) "God is a more complicated idea than evolution, therefore Occam's Razor proves that God cannot exist.  He's not quite the jackass Seth McFarlane is, but that's no compliment.

Have you got a source on that?  I can't find it on his website.

My problem with Dawkins is that I strongly get the feeling that even if God were proven to exist tomorrow, he would not accept what the empirical evidence was suggesting and still argue against the existance of a God like it were his white whale.

So I have a bit of a question about IRC etiquette. When you enter a room and a couple people greet you, naturally you greet them back, right? But what do you do about people that say hello after you say hello? Do you say hello again? Do you just ignore them?

I prefer to say "Ello, all" then greet people who say hello to you specifically.
