Free to us, expensive to the advertisement placers. It's actually a pretty good deal (at least at this moment). Those yellow search results are usually ignored by most people, but it is very expensive to buy a commonly searched one. :3

Yeah, it's mostly advertising revenue, google actually does a whole bunch of other projects that are supposed to turn a profit, but don't... although they don't actually seem to care that much if they turn a profit or not.

I don't block those because I'm trying to stifle Bing and the other search engines.

Seriously Bing is annoying and it's all over our school computers.

Thankfully, Bing is not all over our computers at school. (mostly because we have firefox and I never bothered to check Internet Explorer except for computer-based test purposes)

Our school has Firefox, Chrome and IE9.

I use Chrome, because Firefox needs to access its preferences files to work and our school uses thin clients.

Hm, we use firefox for ICT lessons, but other then that, IE
But we always use google tough. IDK why anybody would ever use bing.
Its full of ads and afaik, google has the best search engine in exsistance.

Bing is nice. Unlike Google, it doesn't censor your search results.

Bing isn't censored because MS is the one that censors the most.
And then they leave the links in bing to make their meh searcher look better.
