So about three hours ago I set the washing machine going and went back to my computer. Ten minutes ago, I went to hang the washing out, and what do I find but the dryer sitting there, somehow working with its door wide open, without the power button having been touched at any point since I plugged it in. Nobody has been home since I set the washing machine going. Further compounding the confusion is the fact that there are two large puddles of water in the same room, both on the opposite side of the room from any appliances, and the only thing they could have conceivably come from is the cats' water bowl, which is still completely full.

So, I've been looking at this company that emailed me about a job...and...why the fuck would they want me? I mean, yeah, I have experience in management, and yes, I have experience in IT (sort of,) and yes, I'm a college student in programming, but still. They're looking for a Technical Project Manager, and yeah, I mostly fit the blueprint of what the job requires, but I've never made more than $12k in a year. This is a highly prestigious company, and I will not be surprised in the slightest if they take one look at me and go a different direction, laughing.
