I tire of shaving every day. I wonder if wax strips would work for that.

Can't be worse than ripping off a bandaid.

I think.

The bandaid is heaven compared to wax strips I think.

I mean, wax strips pull your hair out!

My facial hair is a crime against nature, only growing in certain spots and smooth elsewhere.

Were I to grow it out it'd be the ugliest goatee ever seen.

Wax strips tear all of the hair they touch out, you can use that to decide if they hurt :P

Just run around rubbing your head on stuff.

I thought about rubbing my head on your spinning avatar, but that would probably generate enough friction to set the forums on fire.  I think I'll stick to rubbing it on air, water, towels, pillows, effigies of Tim Curry, etc.

They also rub their antlers (if applicable) to rub off the velvety coating.

That would get very long very fast. As for the story: Note how the "this is so horrible, people should stop, a text message isn't worth your life" tends to come after the accidents? It feels rather rude to say this, and it is terrible that someone died, but hey! natural selection is working.

I've got bruises or something on my back, right over the knobbly bits of my vertebrae. It's weird.

I was reading about the A-10 Thunderbolt II, and the GAU-8 Avenger in particular, originally out of curiosity towards what the long dimension of the 30 mm rounds was (it's 173 mm). I then read some interesting facts. For example, to remove the gun from an aircraft, you must put a jack under the tail or else it will tip over after removal. Most notably, though, is the fact that the recoil of the gun is more than the thrust of one of the engines.
