Yeah, real broken nails are not as painless and using the clippers on them. So the "whining about a broken nail" cliche is actually quite unfounded.

There's probably lymphic fluids in there (they're part of your bodies self-defense system), which are transparent. The dilution makes the blood look bright red.

So I got on Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear to have a go at some old school realism and I notice that one of the characters has a familiar name. Price. A British man named Price. A British man named Price who has the exact same facial hair as Cpt. Beardy* Price from the Modern Warfare series.
