First album, Fingers crossed: Good fucking lord this entire thing was wonderful. Soft and shy, it is like being a teenager in love. It is all about romance and dreams... Most likely their best work.
Second album, In case we die: A little more hit and mix, although everything is good, some less good than others, then again this is where 'Do the whirlwind' came from. It also has some really fun songs like 'The cemetery' and 'What's in store', but then some things that are a little more weird like 'Nevereverdid', although it is still good fun. All in all, an album about being youthful and enjoying life.
And then, a darkness. Two out of the eight band members left, due to not liking the new direction the rest were looking to take.
Third album, We died, they remixed: All remixes of their old songs, some really good. Not just electro-pop remixes, some really well worked over stuff like the 'Like a call - Buy me now I'm cheap remix' and 'Rendezvous Hill - Three point four five star remix' were awesome and not to be missed.
Fourth album, and the remaining six are trying to prove their worth with Places like this: It took a lot more effort for me to get into this and really enjoy it as much as the past three, it is just sort of lacking, really. It still had some strong points, I guess, and now that I am used to it I can really enjoy songs like 'Underwater' but still doesn't hold any massive hits.
Another band member quits, they are down to 5.
Fifth album, Moment bends: And here they have gone full phase into a new style that is a lot more like 'Of Montreal' than how they started. Still wonderful songs, but I miss their older stuff and wish more would come, but I doubt it. Still, good work from them, and
still full of groove. That is just albums. I think the only song to ever
not make an album was 'Love is evil', the direct squeal to 'Do the whirlwind', but we don't talk about that. It just happened one day when they were bored with a recording studio.
