What happens if somebody's birthday is on February 29 in a leap year?
Are they only allowed to celebrate once every 4 years?
Do they age 4 times as slowly??

Well you see, most of them just have a birthday on either the 28th or 1st instead.
This has led to a dispute between the 29ers as to the correct protocol for missing days, whether they should use the day before or after. Over time this argument has elevated into violence, and every year during that time of year, the 29ers take their side in the trenches and engage in bloody birthday fuelled warfare. Much cake and mustard gas is consumed.

Knew someone once, ended up with an odd situation where if you judged age by birthdays, she was older than her mother.
