Which has happened to me and quite a few people I know (after all, a large number of people cheat because they want out anyways, it isn't that strange they'd break up once it was discovered).

Having been in the position, I can understand wanting to get revenge on someone who not only betrayed you but robbed you of any sort of revenge by ALSO stealing the righteous breakup thing from you.

I can't say I feel particularly sorry for her, although really why doesn't she just set up a filter that blocks any emails with the words "I hate you" in it?

(I'd also guess the story is totally made up)

yea thinking about it sounds fake, but really but seriously I think I already deal with enough ethical problems in psychology.

I'll be honest - if true, I think she deserved it.

I have very little sympathy for those who engage in betrayal and then compound it by blaming the other person. I have little sympathy for those who engage in deceptive practices for personal gain.

Don't get me wrong, guys no saint - he's just doing it to taste that sweet revenge. But considering the work he's put in, I think he deserves a bit of that, too.
