What causes gravity? Gravitons or gravity faeries?

Little magnets planted in the earth, pulling on the trace amounts of the different metals we all have in our bodies.

Obviously.

If that's the case, then we'll figure out hax

My personal fanfic.

Thinking for a moment, Tim picked up a ball.
"Diane," Tim began,"If the computer can simulate the universe, can it tell what I'm doing ten seconds from now?"
"Why yes, I implimented that feature last monday." Diane replied.
"Can you have it show what I'm doing one minute from now?"
"Yes, I think so." Diane set the simulation to one minute from now.
"What does it show me doing?"
"By the looks of it, you're holding a ball?"
Tim threw the ball he was holding out a window. Promptly, the simulation in the computer ended.
"And that solves that."

I had a totally weird dream in which I went to the district I lived in (years ago), visited my middle school friend and kissed him passionately.

The point is, I never managed to remember his adress, seen him last time eight years ago, and during that time I did suspected he was gay. I just found a photo of our class and goddamn, the face in dream was just like on the photo O.o

Wtf brain, why remind me of him now?

EDIT; And how the fuck my brain remembered all the details after all these years!?

Oh god there's a sphere in my room. It's just black and it's hovering there. Oh god what do I do?

If it starts playing the theme song for an exercise radio show, RUN.

Isn't running exactly what the exercise radio show wants you to do?!

Quote from: Chesterton
For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

So....in full-scale ""ohshitlookfornewjobnow" mode, and I'm trying once again to slam my head against the giant unyielding wall that is applying for US government jobs. I'm broadening my scope considerably beyond just intel and IR jobs, and I came across a foreign affairs specialist job with NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration). One of the "job duties" caught my eye:

Quote
*Be responsible for effectively promoting(using the French Language)the use of swordfish buoy fishing gear to Moroccan government fisheries officials.

.....that's pretty specific. Either they have an internal candidate and they're drawing up the position so that it's a cakewalk for their person, or they've gotten really selective.  :o

Check out CACI Inc. They specialize in logistics, support and intelligence services and always have positions of one kind or another. They have work all over the place: Washington DC, Arlington VA, Birmingham AL, Panama City FL, Kabul Afghanistan, Salt Lake City Utah, Honolulu Hawaii and other locations.

Name rings a bell. Think I might have applied to them fresh out of grad school. The problem with a lot of the private-sector jobs is that they want you to already have a TS clearance, which I don't. Gov't doesn't care about the clearance, but wants buttloads of experience. Private sector doesn't care about experience, but they want dat clearance. #catch-22

You should correct her by saying, "No, Genghis Khan was the dude with the awesome mustache," and just leave it at that.
