More like you are seeing a over representation of people who took it seriously. People who thought it was trolling only posted like one snide comment or not at all. People who did not realize it kept posting. But still it looks like most people knew it was trolling. Or at least did not take it seriously.
Well then I guess it went right over my head. Thank you for informing me; my faith in humanity has been restored, if only by a small amount.

If having a facebook account is an attribute of "real humans," I don't want to be one.

I have an FB account, although it is kind of abandoned, due to others spamming my news with FARMVILLE, CITYVILLE, WHATEVERVILLE and MAFIA WARS.

It got out of control, so I just left it be.

I'm pretty sure you can disable those.
Then again, I haven't been on Facebook since I made an account almost a year ago, so :|

Facebook is like hanging out with your friends, except your parents decided to come along and it's really awkward.

Also one of the reasons I left. Nosy parents are nosy.

Plumbers Don't Wear Ties.
Oh God, yes. There's bad, there's Battlefield Earth bad, and then there's... this. These films, and shows, and games that, when you look at them make you wonder, "Why does this exist?"

You can never truly wrap your head around the fact that these things exist, let alone examine them in any detail. It is futile.

I seem to be attracting shitty movies lately. Couple days ago it was "Alien Siege". Today I switch to random channel and it's airing some british zombie(?) flick called Doomsday. It's so sad, it thinks it's a good movie but it really isn't.

I was thinking about going to the cinema and watching either the new Mission Impossible or Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. I'm not sure I'm going to bother now.

edit:
Quote from: Wikipedia article about this movie
Doomsday was conceived by Marshall based on the idea of futuristic soldiers facing medieval knights.
I guess that sums it up alright. Haven't seen any medieval knights yet though. So far it seems like only punks, ravers and tattoo artists survived the plague.
