Really?... I've never encountered it.  This is either because I'm not that much of a tab whore, or I just linked to the wrong one.  There are two extensions with the exact same name that don't appear to be exactly the same.  Maybe that one supports more tabs.

Am I the only one who doesn't keep a million or so tabs permanently open? It's fairly rare for me to have more than a half dozen open at once, daily webcomic check aside.

I've got a seperate tab group in FF4 for tvtropes, right now it has at least 8 tabs open.
In the group I'm actually using, I've got 4 random tabs.

I've tripled that before (it gets to where you can't see the little symbol, at all~), to say nothing of when I've got multiple browser windows open with that much (or more, whee!) tabs open per window. It's a lot easier than bookmarking or saving sessions~

Opera does have built in session saving, though, and you can open up a list of open tabs with ctrl+tab, and then click on the tab you want to go to (or press ctrl+tab a few more times to go to something close to the top). Also can scroll through via holding right mouse and scrolling the mousewheel. It's very nice.

Firefox has an option to reopen all of your tabs back up when you open it back up (in the same groups at that, and theres an add-on to keep it from freezing while loading too many at once), but really the only reason I don't have several dozen tabs open is because they're all temporarily in ReadItLater instead.

For me, it depends on what I'm doing. If I'm just surfing and playing a game in the background, it'll be my core 3 (B12, pony forums, youtube set to some music or another) with a webcomic or manga scanlation or something as well, but if I'm troping or doing a backlog binge on Cracked (or both at once if I really hate myself), I can hit 40+ tabs.

I currently have three LPs, B12, homework, a long song on Youtube, , my imgur account, and a wide variety of indie games currently tabbed open. Thankfully I can reopen the tabs after closing my browser with no problems.

Just 3 tabs open right now, but at work I can have 30 open sometimes.  API references, forum searches, other misc. help pages, test pages... it adds up.

I get wtfs from my coworkers from it occasionally.  Funny thing is, I'll open a tab thinking I'll come back to it, and 90% of the time I don't.

At home, I usually don't go over 5 or 6 unless I'm on TvTropes.  All bets are off then.  I've probably had 50 tabs open at once before.
