We get spambots all the time, hardly worth bringing up in other threads.

I don't understand why it seems some men seem to have a problem with me hanging out with their girlfriends (Please see, I'm the gayest thing ever).

You may not be a competitor for her affection, but you are still a competitor for her attention (even if he wouldn't have done anything with the attention because he was busy elsewhere). I know plenty of people for whom that is more than enough to trigger their jealousy circuits.

Not to mention that even though he knows you're "The gayest thing ever" his most basic circuts still see you as a man. That would also explain why he actually became more relaxed when he saw you in a dress because those circuts got switched off. Luckily most guys aren't as sensitive.

I don't know what you look like so I'm just going to assume you have the same rugged type look most movie stars do and assume the worst; The dude's not going to get alot more comfortable. There's honestly not a lot you can do about those basic circuts save extensive training to be some sort of ninja sensei with control over everything. Don't worry about it, as long as he knows your orientation consiously he has ample ammunition to not do anything about it.


Or I'm just wrong and stupid. One of the two. I don't have a psychology degree, so.

We had an internet category at the trivia night at the university pub, and apparently 80% of all pictures on the internet are of naked women. That actually surprised me. I guessed 30%.

Of course, pictures of naked women are more likely to rehosted than hotlinked, meaning the same picture could easily be counted a whole crapton of times.

I have heard that 75% of internet traffic was porn, at least until netflix streaming got big.

There was a study that came up with just over 50%, in 1995, and later responses indicated it inflated its results and that's the highest I've ever seen returned.

No one has done a comprehensive study on the issue since, but every attempt has put it at significantly less than that. Most places I've seen numbers quoted have, quite literally, made them up.

Heck, 75% of 4-chans traffic isn't even porn, and that's one of the porniest places on the net.

Last ACTUAL study I saw put % of web content that is porn at about .3%

Keep in mind that its viewing popularity was significantly higher, at maybe 13%, that's just a content measurement.

None of those numbers are worth the digital ink they're printed with, though.

Holy crap, Kogut, if you rank by Facebook, Turkey has this unbelievable lead, with the country, four cities and the language being the ones that searched for Facebook the most.

Maybe the Turkish can't type 'facebook.com' into the adress bar? Maybe the Turkish are addicted to Facebook? We'll never know.
