The reason the vegetarian issue is such a problem is because we by tradition have one meal every day at dinner that we eat together, and that meal always contains some form of meat. In fact meat is pretty much unavoidable in this household. Heck even my favourite soup, split pea and ham contains meat, although it's not actually the meat I like.

Heck I hate meat, I can't stand it in most forms and only somewhat tolerate it in others. But everyone insists I need the protein, and I get it metaphorically shoved down my throat on a regular basis.

I've always been yelled at for not eating my meat...
If you don't eat your meat, you can't have any pudding! How can you have any pudding if you don't eat your meat??

I think the spam ad for an ultrascanner was weird. They even had bad English for someone in the UK. You'll notice that it says 'for sell' instead of 'for sale'. Seriously though, selling an ultrascanner!? Not only is it harmful to use on a regular basis, but no one in their right mind would buy one for home use, and a hospital would just get one through normal channels.

I almost want a posse of british Bay12ers to take a day trip to the address mentioned, just to see what happens.
Google streetmap indicates it's a travel agent, and a bit of googling says it hasn't been bought since 2001.

EDIT: In actual wtf news, my uni has blocked google translate.

Two WTF's at work today. First, finding a three legged hamster with no wounds which means it came in like that. As amusing as the little fella is she should have been sent back.
That's my WTF of the day, actually. Sent back, uh, where? And how?

I'm getting this mental image of something kinda' deadpan stuffing a three legged hamster into a box (or perhaps envelope) and sticking it back in the mailbox. Possibly with 'return to sender' stamped somewhere on it.
What the hell is your job  ;)

Yeep I work at a pet store but hey its better than flipping burgers. Pays more to. Anyway we get a delivery from a local breeder of small furries (hamsters, rats, ect) and birds every week or two. Whoever is on shift is suppose to check each animal over to make sure there's no signs of injury or sickness otherwise the animal needs to go back with the deliveryman (who I'm pretty sure is a worker for the local breeder). I mean as small as these guys are and the fact where the leg would be was covered in fur I suppose it could be easy to miss if one were just glancing at them.

Well, the seasons have rotated back into Winter again.

I wonder when the Oracle of Seasons is going to set things right again? It freezing outside. Oh wait, that's normal, but going through all 4 seasons in a month is getting annoying.

EDIT:
That reminds me, I still have 2 dungeons left in that game to beat.

I'll echo that wtf. Isn't high IQ good pretty much regardless of your occupation, providing you've got all the other qualifications in order?

E: Then I read the article and... what? Do they have any statistical backing to make the claim that high IQ increases turnover? I'd love to see the sources they cited :-\

IQ only measures your logic processing, doesn't prove you are smart still.
