It's from Homestuck, the new character Jane is a fan of Betty Crocker and when she opens up the Betty Crocker chat client there are ads that sometimes quickly flash words like "OBEY" and "CEASE REPRODUCTION".

Well I guess one guy did it, then EVERYONE did it. I saw that GlyphGryph's avatar had betty crocker on it, so I just did the same thing for the hell of it.

All Homestuck fans have a hivemind thing like that, I mean 90% of the people on the MSPA Forums have already done it to their avatars.

It's on the Homestuck forums, also the Homestuck topic here on this forum.

It was a psychic coincidence at first, though. The fandom is a hive-mind at this point.
