Oh god, watching the Marble Hornets youtube videos.

WHY IN GODS NAME DID I LOOK UP SLENDERMAN, NIGHTMARES FOREVER.
They're not that horrible. Sound quality is mediocre at best, but otherwise it's not that bad...

mcclay, good luck. I know a couple other people who lost a lot in fires, it's kind of a shitty situation all around. I hope your house escapes destruction. I'll hold off on making a joke about this till after you find out how things go.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

I second that, man. :\ Best of luck, Bay12er comrade.

...This might be a little inappropriate but as an insurance specialist and counselor, I hope you guys have fire protection on your policy. Its a lifesaver in such times. :| Good luck, man. We pray for you.

On the subject of computer WTFery, my computer has about 130 GB of 140 used for C:\. Examination of each directory gives about 70-100 GB.

Get the trial of Spacemonger or Treesize Free. They bereak down the contents of you folders into easy graphs so you can see where all the space is going.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

Both the progarms I mentioned can be used free, and both are far more useful than WInDirStat was last time I used it.

I know they can be used free, I just wanted to bring up the third one and its big colorful picture description of the hard drive once it finishes.

Triage isn't their speciality.

For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

What happened that the latest version of IE is better?
Suggested Chrome and Opera before IE, of course, though~ :b

Yup, because tomato paste is apparently a vegetable.

So containing a vegetable product makes something a vegetable?
