This didn't happen recently, but it's a very WTF moment.

Once, I got a glass of water out of the freezer and after a few seconds the water began to become non-transparant. I tried to drink it, and I shit you not, it was like gel.

uh thats not even possible unless you hit the perfect stage where the water is crystallized but still not bonded to each other, total mindfuck right there.

It must have happened like that. I heard something similar like this happening to one of my dads friends, but that was with beer (Or so I remember it to be)

I got lumps of that in a can of Coke once.

I honestly don't have a clue what you're talking about.  I used to grow my own Cannabis and there is no fungus that comes with it.  Could you provide a name and source?

That was me paraphrasing from a school 'drugs talk' from some feller who apparently works in youth rehabilitation and stuff; if he said a name, I've forgotten it, and the closest thing a quick Google throws up is this, which doesn't seem terribly reliable.

Ahh, I'm afraid you got told a load of crap in school then   It's actually a pretty hardy and clean plant.

The hemp plant, cannabis, or better known as marijuana, is a drug made from dried leaves and flowers which in turn is smoked in cigarettes to produce a narcotic-like effect.

1. Hemp != Cannabis.
2. Marijuana is a slang term.
3. The plant is a drug made from dried leaves and flowers?
4. The leaves aren't generally smoked.
5. It only really has a 'narcotic effect' if badly grown/dried/cured.

That's bud rot, caused by storing/drying harvested weed in poor conditions.

There are also several fungi that can infect Cannabis (and indeed any plant) that is being grown incredibly badly.  If you're growing indoors then there is no excuse for that being present though.

Actually, this happened yesterday, but when we were handing out food, we also were handing out clothes.

Apparently, someone decided it was a good deed to donate several pairs of used, dirty underwear.
