Somebody designing the spambot meant to send emails about prostitutes, but they misspelled "hooker". Then when they looked up related keywords in a language they don't understand, they got the results we now see.

For some reason I have zits/acne/whatever you call it (pimples that need squeezing) over my arms, which my mum says never happens.

I get it too. My mom says not to pop/squeeze/get rid of them like a zit because "they're not really zits and something bad could happen".
Which I guess is the same thing.

Just going to say here that sai are supposed to be blunt. They're truncheons, not daggers.

On that topic, I wonder about the legality or lack thereof of selling them, as you say. Back when I practiced kobujutsu, I just one day walked into a sporting goods store and bought some facsimile ninja weapons, no questions asked. The bladed ones were blunt, of course, but they were in a state where I could have sharpened them if I really wanted to.

Just popping in to say that proper procedure for acne is to wash more often or more thoroughly, not to pop 'em when they appear. If you're not careful you can end up with some really nasty pockmark scars that'll be with you for the rest of your life, barring plastic surgery.

This is not exactly a terrified WTF, but more a confused WTF.

Yesterday, I tried to download 42.03 on a friend's PC, and bay12games.com gave me a timeout. isup.me said it was up just fine, and so did everyone on the forums. The forums and dffd.bay12games.com worked just fine, but bay12games.com or any subdirectory did not respond. (A funny side effect of this was that Toady's forum avatar did not load.) I tried rebooting my PC, switching browsers, clearing cache, and even going through the firewall rules but to no avail.

And right now, it's working again.

That's not surprising, though. Australia is a place where it's hot in winter, cold in summer, and people are walking upside-down, though I'm pretty sure the last one is a joke.
