Well to be honest the maker of the comic was kinda... kinda obviously taking the piss on that one.

Another pointless revelation about my fried PC(since the one part I need to get it running on the new parts is still in China) - it turns on, it apparently POSTs correctly, just no display. While this could mean I somehow fried the graphics card, could this also mean I fried the PCI-e slots(both of them)? Again, I'm not entirely sure how I would have fried that and not the rest of it, since the part I connected badly was closer to other stuff that still works.

I'm still not 100% sure I even have all the power connections attached correctly. I found a large 4-pin plug marked "PCI-E" coming from the PSU, but if I remember correctly, that connected directly to the first graphics card I used(current one does not have a hole for it). My life would be severely improved if it this stuff still worked. As it is, I cannot seem to find the installation manual for the motherboard.

So a few weeks back I complained here about Magicka borking my sound drivers, right? That seems to have magically fixed itself over the last little while (possibly because of a Windows update replacing them).
