So I'm watching the old Battlestar Galactica (yeah, the 1978 version) and at one point of already silly journey, you have a situation with a locked room full of people, that can only be opened by someone who can hot-wire the door controls... and of course it has to be the black guy. Who in his youth was the hottest hovercar hijacker in town. Ghetto, man, ghetto never changes haha.

Just listened to all of 30H. It went surprisingly well with Greek homework. Anyone know if the 30H guy ever got the job he wanted?

It seems that my latest light bulb accidentally an artifact. By my vague estimation, it has already outlasted all the previous ones and shows no signs of stopping. Wonder if someone added too much wolfram to the wiring inside or something.

... so when you say 'outlast', what are we talking about, here? Because several of the newer-ish types have lifespans that are not exactly short. Have had several bulbs that've lasted 5+ years of near-constant use, personally -- those twistly little dimmer florescent ones -- and some of the more recent LED lights are being said to have estimated lifetimes that are even longer.

It's an incandescent light-bulb. These ones are usually not that long-lived.

My family is trying to convince me to apply for a job with almost twice the pay of my current one and health insurance to be surrounded by animals and shit(literally) all day.

My current one has me surrounded by food that I sometimes eat.

Decisions, decisions.

Do believe the extremely relevant question would be "Do you have any allergies?" 'Cause if you do, being around animals and their shit can be more than a little unpleasant, heh.

Unless I eat them, I don't think so. I usually get a worse reaction from changing seasons which means America sucks.

But still, more pay and benefits or free food. Curse my complacent nature!
