Kojima warned us about this in MGS2. The La-Li-Lu-Le-Lo could have kept us from shitposting. Things could have been different.

do with that as you will

I've been doing this shit for years.

You and me have a completely different style of posting, I'll be fine.  But thanks for the warning I guess.

You misspelled seance.  Are possessing Draignean?  Are you actually a ghost in the shell? You have to tell us if you are, that's the rule

He was trying to make the point that cultural assimilation was silly, or not valid as a concept, or however you want to word that.
How about; some people use it in batshit crazy stupid silly ways that makes them look like idiots?
Because that is what was being discussed, if I didn't miss post or two...

Yes. I used the reductio ad absurdum to go one step beyond current levels of idiocy. And my concern is that those batshit crazy people will become the mainstream. Its been a trend of sorts...

I have a problem with reading multiple posts, are you discussing Poe's law or providing an example of it?

It started off as an equal mix of both but then shit got too meta.

There comes a point you can't tell if peoples posts are genuine Internet outrage or mocking Internet outrage.
We've reached peak sarcasm.
No, we "haven't."
I am tooooootally being sarcastic.

Gunner-chan, where is your avatar from? I want it. :v
Which one, it's a rotation. :P
The answer is almost certainly going to be shipgirls regardless.

And damn. The show adaption isn't the best thing in the world, but the closing song is fucking amazing.

To people asking about my avatar(s), they're all cropped from an artist named Hetza/hellshock on pixiv. Some are shipgirls, some are characters based off the tabletop RPG Nechronica.

I remember when I've had only 128 MB RAM and that was a lot.

Hard to believe that was only, like, 10 years ago...

The 128mb "standard" era never really existed.

You went straight from an era where 4mb was standard and 16mb+ was "big" in the very early 80s, when everyone was driving 486s running win3.11, to windows 95 on early pentium systems, where 32mb was low end and 64mb was top end, to the win98 era where 128mb was low end, 256mb was midrange, and 512mb+ was higher end-- to the start of windows XP era, where 256mb was low end, and 4gb was high end.

Due to processor design limitations bumping heads with OS limitations, that memory footprint stuck around for a long while until 64bit machines became common in the wild, and Microsoft finally released a 64bit OS for the mainstream (XP x64 edition was a red-headed stepchild, even though it actually worked fine when you could get drivers. It was never released as a public facing offering for general consumption though. You didnt get mainstream 64bit systems until win7.).  After that, seeing systems with 4gb as "low end", with 16gb or more on the high end has become more common.

I remember when having 4mb of RAM installed (via some special ISA cards, like an Intel AboveBoard) using a hardware EMS package was "Radical high end".

Then again, I am ancient in terms of computer geek age related experience.

What I don't get is how can you even fill those 16 GB up. Like, for what would you even need 16 GB of RAM?

That's 8 times more RAM memory than Diablo 2 weights on disk!
