Agh had to send a file between two adjacent computers.  Different windows networking domains (or whatever!), email suddenly failed on one machine, couldn't find *any* of my USB sticks, had to present in mere minutes, ended up pulling the SD card out of my phone to do it...  Twice...

And then it was all okay.  No screen sharing after all.  Just did a casual half hour voice lecture about my favorite techniques and common situations.  Throat is sorer than ever, but everything's okay.  Later I somehow had a nap, which always really screws up my entire perception of reality.

I'm starting to get seriously annoyed at Yahoo news (which I browse to get an idea of what's trending.) The articles they choose to show are getting more and more poorly researched, and more and more biased - in both directions.

I reckon that soon enough it will be possible to write a contemporary fiction novel that also fulfills enough cyberpunk tropes to qualify.

NINJAD: Yes we all know it's Hot Fuzz (and as I said, I knew it was going to be from the context it was linked in alone). But you can't read the description without going to watch the video.

I just cleaned up 66 Gb of hard-drive space just by running disk cleanup on the system files and backups.

Last week I found out I only had 6 Mb (!) left on my hard drive, out of 254Gb. That was the first time in my life that I encountered a windows message telling me that I could not uninstall something, because the was not enough disk space to write uninstall information, lol.
