Honestly, I think it's the uncanny valley of gun design. The P90 doesn't look very much like a gun, which makes it okay. That thing, on the other hand, has the general shape and design of a gun and can easily be recognized as such, except that it's all wrong-looking.

The real question is, if I gave a P90 to one kid in one city and let him wander into public buildings waving it around making pewpewpew sounds, and did the same thing with another kid, but giving them that thing, which of them is more likely to get the swat team called?

If you give a gun to a black kid, I guarantee you are going to get arrested for contributing to the death of a minor. And then, if you're white, you'll probably walk.

Cooking anything to an edible state is simple:
1) Google tasty recipe
2) Check to make sure you have all required ingredients/containers needed
3) Follow instructions

Why is the bread in the fridge? Why is the butter on the counter? I don't understand why some things are placed the way they are.

Butter is lots of times left on counters so it's soft at room temperature (doesn't work in very hot houses, obviously). I'm not sure why anyone would keep bread in the refrigerator, while it slightly lengthens the time before it molds it makes it go stale tons faster (like in days instead of weeks faster). In fact googling "foods you shouldn't refrigerate" brings up bread as one of the top things (along with stuff like tomatoes and many other fruits).
