I tend to just think of spaghetti as 'long, thin bits of pasta'.
Until recently I didn't realise the stuff I've always known just as "noodles" was actually ramen and a specific kind of noodle, either. It's never labelled 'ramen' over here. There's instant noodles (or 2-minute noodles), and then there's fancy restaurant-level stuff.

Who said anything about need? Just because <insert preferred ice cream flavor> is the best, to you, and you could subsist on it forever, does not mean sprinkles or other flavors or whatev' shouldn't be eaten. Same thing for noodles. Sometimes you eat other things just so your appreciation of your preferred substance becomes that much greater.

Also you can totally stuff ramen in with other noodles and it can become greater than the individual whole. Stuff like that.

I've always read it like a British-way of saying flame. Like, with the long vowels and accent and all. ._.

Though in sudden retrospect, black fell gum would probably look pretty interesting. Have that kind of marbled black and neon green coloration. Latter probably pulsating and mildly luminescent.

It could be due to being a very heavy smoker, or living in a polluted environment. Or a fungal infection in your nose.

If your phlegm is glowing neon colours and pulsating, you should probably kill it before it becomes sentient and re-enacts poorly written B horror movies.

It is supposed to be flame, except flame is almost always taken, so I started using flyme. Except even flyme is taken in more than a few instances.

I was going to my friends house. Car battery was dead so I took my bike instead. Halfway there it got a flat tire, so I dropped it off at a conveniently close bike shop and walked the rest of the way.

On the way home I picked up my bike from the shop and after riding it for a block I ran over a thumb tack and got another flat tire.
Pretty sure I was cursed.

re:cooking, since I started living off campus I've realized the secret to preparing decent food pretty much boils down to putting it on a pan/pot with pam/water and cooking it over a stove, poking it occasionally with an appropriate tool, until its done.

At certain point I took stock of what I knew how to prepare and realized it was all just pots and pans on the stove.  Well except for homemade pizza but the only reason I bother is I'm lactose intolerant and getting good lactose-free pizza where I live is hard.

Yep.  Cuisine is an art, but cooking is super easy.  Just choose ingredients which cover your needs and taste acceptable, then bring them to safe temperature using water, steam, oil, or an oven.  Hydrate as necessary.

 Paypal refuses to let one use tracfones for mobile phone verification*, and while they let you add a home phone number they donot allow you to verify via it. Even GOOGLE lets you use landlines for verification.

*Atleast, they dont let ME use one for it.
