So my old eye problem picked last night to flare up. Not too bad a problem, it's just a couple of unpleasant days every few years and things go back to normal. I got called in for an interview today (admittedly, one for a job I'm not certain I want), whic I'll have to go to with one eye red and watery. Easily explainable, but it is going to make an awful impression.

You know, one of the biggest Mental Flaws you can take is the inability to recognize other players as anything but NPCs or mobs. For some reason it seems to be a random status condition associated with the Capitalist skill tree, maybe that's a bug?

Think OW was talking more about most mobile critters having the animal subtype, including the nominal PCs, rather than the occasional IFF malfunction that crops up in the UI.

Considering the fact the only two major communist regimes in the history of the world killed far more people under their rule then world war 2, I'd say thats likely not a negative status exclusive to capitalism or rather, its a minor condition derivated from a communist born pathogen?

Or maybe its a mandatory negative perk of advancing in the macro economy tech tree, except its worse for communist as a tradeoff for completely controlling the market :v?

No, he picked it up as a prereq for advancing beyond Level 10 in the Authoritarian Ruler Job. It's impossible to max that Job without it unless you take the Populist Monarch path to the higher-tier skills, but that build hasn't been popular since patch 1.7 or 1.8, and most people can't pull it off because nobody's done a good walkthrough yet.

I think the problem is that it gives you a higher Influence stat bonus, and both the Politician and the Businessperson skill trees have a huge requirement for that stat. So a lot of players take the flaw as a shortcut.
