I dont think anyone has made a paste out of thermite yet. Perhaps out of Nanothermite, but you would have to ask the few militaries that have access to that.

Someone did make a bolt-on cutter thing for it though... Just wish i could find it on the 'tubes.

UK pretty sure that rather than being thermite "thermal paste" would just be some futuristic/bond-sequel tech that worked pretty much like... I dunno what show or movie I'm thinking of, but I want to say... Firefly? It had some kind of paste that they applied in space that then superheated, right?

Thermite dosent really react in that form, although I have only seen videos of it in earths atmosphere, and who knows what it would do in a micro-atmosphere.

So something called the University of [Redacted] Divest campaign started sending me emails. They want the university to stop doing business with companies that do business in the contested parts of Israel/Palestine and therefore contribute to the Israeli settlement programs in those areas. It at least resembles a good idea on the surface, but on the list of companies to stop doing business with are giants like General Electric and Hewlett-Packard, among others, who're are essential to keeping the university running. If they were to stop doing business with them, I wonder if the university could find a replacement with the logistical capability to handle their needs. Student Government seems to have similar concerns, and decided not to act on the movement's requests. It should be interesting to see how it plays out, but I'm almost certain it'll die there before it ever gets to the desk of anyone remotely relevant.
