Yes, a show about British people, living in Seattle, obviously made by someone who has only ever been downtown. Sleepless in Seattle had a better grasp of the city, and half the shots that were supposed to be here are actually shot in, like, Ohio, or something.

But that is just "Insertion" characters.

Note that these characters do not have to be "not terrible" so long as they are depicted as desirable in some way.

Had nothing to do, so I watched the Lego Movie.

I think my brain got oversaturated by all the weirdness and insanity.

I WISH I could get this response.

I guess this is why everyone else gets weirded out when I watch Adventure Time, but I think it's totally fine.

Also WTF:
I just found out that some of my housemates have been complaining to staff about me being on the computer late at night/early in the morning. This is odd to me, because when I'm on, I always either mute the speakers or use headphones, and my typing can't be any louder than the TV that the staff keeps on at all hours.

I'll put it to you this way

I am watching this anime about Sweet Fairies who are magical fairies dedicated to making sweets, who go out into the human world and find people they are compatible with to teach them how to make sweets. At one point they also sing a song while dressed like popstars for fun, and their home world is so sweet that the soil from their world is coated in sugar.

The main character is a oddly non-mary sue mary sue-ish character who has super tasting ability to the extent where she can tell what flower honey came from by the taste and can tell what farm milk has come from. She can also instantly tell the emotions of a person just by eating their cooking.
-Honestly in all fairness... I praise this series for how they handle her. She is written like a Mary Sue but she is far from it.

Yet the part of the anime that was weird to me?

Later on they open up this HUGE theme park-esk place where every country in the world competes with their sweets and if you can't cut it you are thrown out.

The Weird part?

How the HECK is this place self-sufficient? I think that place costs a LOT more to run then they could ever make on sweets.

Think for about two seconds what that main character's ability could be used for in the fields of espionage (take a sip of milk, track the originating point, instantly be aware of supplier, supply chains, originating country...) and interrogation (force prisoner to cook, have fairy eat, instant incredibly powerful lie detector). Extrapolate as to what other, presumably similar, abilities other fairies may have. Realize the park is being funded by black op and corporate organizations worldwide as a way to placate their extradimensional game-changing resources. Gotta' keep the psychic sugar fetishists happy, because they're freaking psychic.
