I don't think so. In AC1 you help the Templars at one point but that's because they weren't really the bad guys, and you were only superficially fighting the Assassins.

Sounds like a dumb game. Eventually the numbers just get so big that you have no idea how big exactly they are and then all you can do is f(x) where x is the previous number and f a divergent function or something like that.

... to be something approaching fair, a couple of my relatives, first cousins to one another, did marry each other. Three kids. No major problems that I heard of.

So it's. Still a thing, or something. Probably more of that in the history further back, but these folks are still, y'know, alive and kicking.

Usually an intermarriage every now and then won't do much of anything. The incest taboo exists because people did it long enough and often enough to start getting noticeable genetic defects. It's actually one of the rare cases where superstition not only did something right, but did it so right that it overreached and is still taken as a given centuries later. So yeah kids, you can get it on with your cousins and siblings (Westermarck effect aside) 'cause genetically speaking it's not a terrible risk, just don't make it a family tradition unless you want to end up like the Hapsburgs (Note: Don't actually do this.).

That said, it's still liable to be creepy, and it's still a potent generator of ridicule.

I'd say its probably EASIER to compose music on a computer then not. Because otherwise, you have to worry about a bunch of other people[The orchestra], doing their jobs right. But with a proper music program, its ALL you, with no chance for failure besides you. Less human error = easier. The end result is mostly the same, assuming the orchestra/whatever does their job properly.
