Nah, like most of its ilk, professional football is what America expresses its manlust towards. Sorta' like wrestling, just more clothes. It's not really a dick measuring contest so much as a ritualized posing pouch for the masses.

Football is one big penis measuring contest.   With pads, for when they lose.

Wouldn't that also apply to most sports? Except for the pads.
I guess, in one way or another.  But thats competition.

Football is the biggest sport in the country, and like all good American things, its encouraged that you be large, and stand in other peoples way

Football is fun to play, not so fun to watch.

Could you give a few examples of single English words that would require an entire phrase to express the same concept in Polish?
Earworm. I can't come up with anything else.

And French grammar is completely incomprehensible to the human mind.

So true.  :P

Seriously, why do we need all these accent things on "E"s anyways?

Rhetorical question. Really should have said something more along the lines of

I... don't remember french grammar being that bad. More sensible than english, anyway. About the least coherent bit was the gendering silliness, but other than that... fairly straightforward, as grammar goes, iirc.

Clearly you haven't encountered the myriad exceptions yet. Also like, three dozen conjugational tenses.

Something like half the time english is more exception than rule.

Well, English itself has French influence from the Norman invasions and then theres the Scandinavian influences from the Vikings and other Nordic peoples.

Then theres the spread of the British Empire, though that didn't so much have influence on grammar as add new words.

In French, I always thought “Qu’est-ce que c’est que” was just an embarrassing accumulation of cruft. It’s like if Microsoft made a language

The weirdness in english mostly comes from two sources.
1. We steal any language which isn't nailed down; and for those which are, we simply steal the nails too.
2. Common words have slower linguistic evolution, resulting in the common words being really weird in regards to spelling, tense, ect, as they are more reflective of the archaic origins of the language. This is then compounded by modern widespread language education which teaches that you should use thought instead of thinked because thought is the word which was used in the past and thus shall always be used regardless of how weird it is in regards to the more standardized parts of the language. Thus cementing any past weirdness into the future.
